PLL Awareness Raising Kite Flight

The PLL Awareness Raising Kite Flight (PLL ARK Flight)  is a public safety and community bonding event that brings families together to empower and educate them on child sexual abuse and gender-based violence prevention. 

This unique event creates an environment that motivates physical activity, encourages activism, and teaches abuse prevention.

The event brings attention to child molestation and gender-based violence by addressing it in the open through partnerships and collaboration with the community, local government, corporations, and relative service providers. The PLL ARK Flight empowers the community by helping them identify resources to support survivors and provide them with tools to prevent abuse.

We also use it as an opportunity to survey community attitudes toward child molestation, incestuous abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault.

Merchant, food, and nonprofit organization vendors make for a fun-filled day that is educational, inspirational, and empowering.
